Anxiety
Anxiety can show up in many ways—racing thoughts, persistent worry, physical tension, panic attacks, or a constant sense of unease. Whether it’s social anxiety, performance stress, or generalized anxiety, living with anxiety can be exhausting and isolating. At United Hope Center, we provide a supportive, compassionate space to help you understand your anxiety and develop the tools to manage it with confidence.
Our team specializes in working with both teens and adults, offering therapy in English and Spanish. We take a culturally responsive, trauma-informed approach, tailoring care to meet each client’s individual needs and background. Together, we explore the root causes of anxiety, how it impacts your daily life, and how to create lasting change.
Common symptoms of anxiety include:
Persistent worry or overthinking
Difficulty sleeping or relaxing
Physical symptoms such as muscle tension, headaches, or stomach discomfort
Avoidance of people, places, or responsibilities
Feeling overwhelmed, restless, or out of control
To support long-term growth and symptom relief, our therapists draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and strengths-based care. DBT, in particular, is helpful for clients managing intense emotions, low distress tolerance, or difficulties with emotional regulation and relationships.
In therapy, we focus not only on symptom reduction but also on building lasting skills—coping strategies, emotional insight, and healthier responses to life’s stressors. Through this process, many clients find greater balance, clarity, and empowerment in their lives.
You don’t have to manage anxiety alone. Whether this is a long-term struggle or a response to a challenging season, United Hope Center is here to walk with you toward healing and hope.
